How to Lead a Life of Crime 2016-09-07

In quite an unusual tone of narration, the author has done a wonderful job of dealing with issues that people of our generation and age group face on a day-to-day basis, the manner chosen being both engaging and subtle. The protagonist, in a different setting, faces issues that we are all too familiar with, such as the question of morality, principles, and the limit to which they apply to our lives. The modern teen faces issues that seem a world away from the ones portrayed in classics and other young adult books written in previous decades. This book goes a long way in being relatable and more relevant to us, given the metamorphosis that social and cultural situations have undergone, in a fundamental manner. I would recommend the book for readers 13 and above: the gory details in certain parts may prove inappropriate for those younger.
