But rumours of a terrible curse - and a missing hero - are flying around camp. It seems Jason, Piper and Leo are the chosen ones to embark on a terrifying new quest, which they must complete by the winter solstice. In just four days time. Heros of olympus

I am a huge Riordan fan so I loved this book! This book introduces quite a few new characters and at first I was very disappointed due to the lack of Jackson action. But then I got really into the book and I have to confess that it's amazing! The new characters are innovative and original and I'm sure a lot of people can relate to them. I would definitely recommend this book for anyone with a taste for good literature!

The Heroes Of Olympus-The Lost Hero

Jason doesn't know where he is from, how old he was, who his parents were. He didn't even remember his last name. But when he lands at Camp Half-Blood, he feels that it is wrong for him to be here. One day, he finds out that he is really a gamble by the queen of gods, Hera. But now, when Hera is captured, she looks up to him to save her. If he doesn't, he would never get his memory back, and a great enemy will rise, which means destruction for gods. Will he, with his friends Piper and Leo, be able to save Hera in time?

Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero

This fantastic book, The Lost Hero (a spin-off of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series) has got to be one of the most thrilling I have ever read. It's filled with action, adventure, a touch of romance, fantasy, Greek and some Roman mythology, and, well ... more action. The Lost Hero is about a young boy, Jason, and his friends, Leo and Piper, who learn that they are demigods (aka the god's children) and go to stay at the mysterious Camp Half Blood. The story begins when Jason wakes up on a bus full of kids on a field trip. He doesn't remember a thing and finds himself holding the hand of a pretty girl about his age who he doesn't remember knowing. She says her name is Piper and that she is Jason's girlfriend. Who are these people? Where is Jason? And what in the world is going on? Find out in the book The Lost Hero.

Whoa!!

This book is the perfect starting to the heroes of Olympus range. Like all of Rick's books it starts and ends with a cliffie. The intro of new characters like Jason Piper and Leo give a fresh twist. One of the best parts of this book is the longing and pain in Annabeth to meet Percy. Also Rick manages to capture and hold on the Percabeth ship for a while

THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ IF YOU LIKE THE PERCY JACKSON SERIES.

Review of Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero

When Jason, Piper and Leo crash-land in camp Half- Blood, they are completely confused. Piper and Jason have weird visions from Hera, the queen of gods, telling them that Hera is in a trap and only the three friends can save her. Jason has no memory of his past. A famous hero, Percy Jackson, has vanished from the camp. They all feel that there has to be connection between all those things. The three friends are sent on a quest. And in the quest, they realize that they have to stop Gaia, the mother of all giants from waking up and destroying Olympus. They have to complete this quest until the winter solstice, which is only four days away. Can they complete their quest in time, and stop Gaia from rising again? This book is even more exciting and awesome than the previous books in the series. One simply cannot keep it down until they’ve finished reading it, and its ending is so shocking that you simply can’t wait to read the next book in this series. Rick Riordan has done a marvellous job with this book, making it even more awesome than his previous books. All these things make this book a must read.

Heroes of Olympus:The Lost Hero

I loved the book!! Riordan dives right into the story! He perfectly meshes Greek and Roman mythology...Its ingenious the way he does it! He twisted the places and characters in the Percy Jackson series to fit in this story line, which is spectacular...Throughout the whole book, you're asking questions beyond where's Percy. Riordan gives you just enough answers to appease you.He perfectly balances the giving and withholding of information. The Heroes of Olympus is definitely, with out a shadow of doubt,is better than Percy Jackson and the Olympians!I simply love everything about this book.

Fast paced and exciting!

Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series became a huge hit among all the age groups. So, one would certainly expect a lot more from these new series.Well, as a matter of fact, this first installment certainly provides the kick start of much more about to come. The characters are well crafted and indulge the reader quite often in the ongoing plot. The reader, many a times, is taken to the past events. The absence of Percy is quite brilliantly managed by the new "Heroes."This book is packed with fun and a lot of adventure, and forges the path of a new series in the making.
